ihr lieben alle,
nur ein kurzer gruss, da wir nun doch auf dem schnellsten weg nach indien sind...kommen
gerade vom karakorum - es war wunderschoen...mehr spaeter...sind jetzt in islamabad,
soweit alles ruhig, fahren trotzdem noch 100 km weiter zu einem freund um ganz
safe zu uebernachten. fahren zusammen mit roger, einem hollaender auf affentwin....melden
uns in zwei tagen aus indien.
kann jetzt nicht alle 34! mails beantworten - kommt zeit kommen antworten.
bitte allen aufgeregten verwandten bescheid sagen, dass es uns sehr gut geht.
konnten uns leider aus den bergen nicht mehr melden, da wir mehr oder weniger durchgefahren sind nach dem 8.10.

hello we are in gilgit now after driving 500 km courves on the karakoram.
in islamabad we picked up post (thanks to everbody who wrote us it was super we had tears in the eyes) and the pakcage with the sparepart from tnt which we recommend fully, thanks nobbi !!!!!!!!!
now we are looking at the 8000 m mountains inkl. nanga barbat!
people are still nice although we saw a picture of osama in one shop. north west frontier province folks are looking even more scary than in belutschistan with henna red beards and their caps and coats. we still feel safe but hearing bbc and german wave to stay informed.
islamabad is full of journalists who cannot leave their hotels for peschawar or wuetta (must be now more refugees their coming illegal over the mountains...)
we have been interviewt by some reporters of focus tv they might show it today (sunday or next sunday) lets see..
in a view days we want to be at kunjerab pass border to china where we inshallah meet licci (can you make it my friend????)
