############## DISALARM ##############

Maybe you heard of bombing some radar near baalbek libanon.

we are safe and invited by friends near trablous.

before we went up the very nice bekaa valley crossed a pass of 2620m to the valley of the cedars. there we camped on the eastern entrance of the park.
some of the holy cedars are still there some more than 1000 years old.

despite media information libanon is safe and a very wonderful country its just recovering from the civil war and not many tourists are around. its is definitly worth going and very good for motorcycling.

cheers

dorothea and rene

having a clubsandwich on hamra street beirut ...

....is very nice if you catch a good table with views to the bikes and most of all on the lebanese girls passing by...

we will (for budget reasons!) get a litttle bit quieter now keeping you informed via the homepage.

so far we went from damaskus over the anti libanon mountains to beirut guided by an australien-libanese who wants to visit his family here. giving him a ride was a pleasure for us. next is baalbek and the cedar mountains in the north and the coast near byblos and trablus. then we head back for syria again to see krak de chevalier, homs and aleppo.

cheers dorothea, rene, martin, christian, benni and joseph
